#14 Technorati
Second attempt at loading this blog as the first one didn't save (no such problem with a piece of paper and a pen!). While searching on Technorati I came across a couple of articles on building blog traffic using social media websites, bu a 21 year old musician named Raivyn (who incidently is very photogenic). The first article at: http://www.idiotsguidetoblogging.com/2007/11/building-traffi.html was on the sites Squidoo, StumbleUpon and MyBlogLog. The second at www.idiotsguidetoblogging.com/2007/11/building-traf-1.html was on Technorati and Digg. Basically she recommended starting a blogger base with the smaller sites before launching your site on Technorati, and having a good ARTICLE before submitting anything to Digg. I think her website could be quite useful to anyone interested in blogging...I am yet to be convinced on a personal level; however, an article I read called "Thank you library bloggers", which I found doing a keyword search for Learning 2.0 on Technorati, went some of the way to championing the blogs use as a way of sharing work experiences, resources and programs. If you have the time, inclination, access to computer...
